Pomfret Community School
Pomfret is a rural 40 square mile area in the Northeastern portion of the state of Connecticut. It is approximately 35 miles from Hartford, 20 miles from the University of Connecticut and 60 miles from Boston. As of 2013, the Town's population was 4,200.
Students in pre-K through eighth grade attend Pomfret Community School located at the intersection of Routes 169 and 101. Pomfret’s high school students attend our designated high school, Woodstock Academy, or Ellis Regional Technical School in Killingly, Putnam High School, Killingly Vo Ag, or other private high schools in the area.
