Where do I report animal road kill?
When road kill is on a town road it can be reported at the Pomfret highway garage, 860-974-3358.
When road kill is on a state road in Pomfret (Routes 44, 101, 69, 97, Murdock Road) it can be reported to the Pomfret CT DOT Garage at 860-928-4098.
If you do not receive a response or in the case of off-hours, the ultimate responsibility is with CT DEEP.
