Can I burn brush in the Town of Pomfret and if so what do I need to do?

Yes, you may burn brush after a permit has been issued to you.  Burning Permits are issued in the Town Clerk's or Board of Selectmen's Office.  The permits are given for brush only, there is no fee, and are usually good for one month.
