Effective August 1st all building and land use permits can be submitted via Permit Link! Applicants will be able to log-in, submit their permit information and pay online! Approved applications will be received electronically through Permit Link - as well as direct contact with the official signing your form. Online payments are available and encouraged! The Pomfret Building Office is announcing a change to the fees charged for all new construction, alterations, reconstructions, and demolition. Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing permits will also be effected by the change. This change was approved by voters as an amended Ordinance at the Annual Town Meeting on May 10, 2023. Please contact the Building Office with any questions regarding the calculation of new fees. Any permit applications dated July 1, 2023 or later must reflect the change.
