AIR LINE TRAIL CROSSINGS - SLIDE PRESENTATION
The public turn-out for this meeting was a great success with much discussion and questions from the public. NECCOG, CT DEEP, CT DOT, and Weston & Sampson Engineering representatives were all present to speak about the project and answer questions and concerns.
Plan revisions have adjusted project costs to 3.4 million which will be paid through federal and state funding. The Boards of Selectmen and Finance have approved moving forward with the project - which will still need public approval at a Town Meeting.
This project is part of the 'big picture' plan on the part of the State of CT DEEP to improve the trail from the State line to Willimantic and beyond.
