Our normal Office hours are Monday & Thursday 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm. Wednesday morning by appointment only. Call 860-974-1674 or email assessor@pomfretct.gov to schedule. 

Responsibilities:

• The Office of the Assessor is responsible for discovering, listing, and valuing all real estate, business personal property, and motor vehicles as of October 1st of each year in accordance with Connecticut State Statutes. All property is assessed at 70% of its fair market value. The office also administers various exemption & abatement programs related to property taxes for veterans, low-income seniors and disabled.
