Veterans Affairs

The Town of Pomfret Municipal Veteran Representative is certified by the State of CT to assist town veteran residents in dissemination of veteran benefits and information.  Some areas of interest are VA health care, VA survivors and burial services, disability compensation, aid & attendance, medal replacements, and more.  The representative is also certified for Soldiers, Sailors and Marines assistance.

The Town of Pomfret is proud of our resident veterans and holds celebrations honoring their services throughout the year, including Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Wreaths Across America.  Information regarding these events can be found on the town web page, The Pomfret Times, and other local media.

The Veteran's Representative is available at the Pomfret Community Center, 207 Mashamoquet Road (Route 44) on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, or by appointment (recommended) by calling 860-928-2309.
