Come Join Your Neighbors at the Pomfret Democratic Town Committee!

We get together once a month—every fourth Tuesday at 7:00 PM—at Christ Church.  It’s a relaxed, friendly setting, and all registered Democrats in Pomfret are warmly invited to pull up a chair and join the conversation!

What do we do? Well, we roll up our sleeves and:

• Recommend candidates for local offices
• Select delegates for state nominating conventions
• Choose our rep for the Democratic State Central Committee

• Plan election activities and fundraising to support Democrats at every level

But most importantly—we talk. About what’s happening on our town boards and commissions. About local concerns, state issues, and the big national picture. If it matters to Pomfret, it matters to us.

We’re always looking for folks who care about:

• Great public schools

• Clean air and water

• Safe, healthy communities

• Preserving our beautiful open spaces

• A strong local economy

• Fair and sensible taxes

And protecting the unique charm and quality of life we love here in Pomfret
