The Pomfret Food Pantry

The Pomfret Food Pantry is temporarily closed.  Plans are underway for a re-opening in May and a grand opening in June.  It will continue to be located in the basement of the Pomfret Community Center.  Those in need of accessing the Pantry before that time should contact TEEG at 860-923-3458.  They will be able to assist.

Donations continue to be gratefully accepted.  Your generosity will help Pomfret's most vulnerable members of the community.

Pomfret Citizen's Assistance Fuel Fund

TEEG offers fuel assistance to the residents of Pomfret. The money in this fund is dependent on the generosity of the Pomfret community. For information or to schedule an appointment, please contact the TEEG office at 860-923-3458 and ask to speak with a Case Manager to see if you qualify. 

Pomfret Public Library 

The Pomfret Public Library is raising funds to build and furnish an addition that will double the size of the facility!  The new space will provide meeting rooms for library programs and other community events.  It will also house the collection of the Pomfret Historical Society.  Learn more about the building plans and project at: www.pomfretlibrary.org/building - or make a donation to the project through the paypal button below.

Pomfret Recreation Department

Your generosity will help the children of local families participate in Recreation programs that they would otherwise not attend.
