Solar System Installation - Zoning Information
Pomfret is adopting best practices for solar system Zoning regulation. Accessory use of photovoltaic solar systems is allowed by-right in all major zones:

Roof-top solar systems do not require a Zoning Permit.
Ground or pole mounted solar systems require a Zoning Permit Application and must abide by the required setbacks for accessory structures.
