Pomfret Climate Vulnerability Assessment

The Climate Vulnerability Assessment for Pomfret was developed as a best practice for sustainable communities identified by the Sustainable CT organization. The Climate Vulnerability Assessment asks municipalities to assess how climate change is likely to impact their community and to identify actions that will build resilience.

Along with this assessment, the town of Pomfret has implemented a number of best practices to achieve and maintain Bronze status with Sustainable CT since 2021 and, most recently, Climate Leader status.
