FEMA Updates Flood Insurance Study & Flood Insurance Rate Map
FEMA has supplied the Town of Pomfret with a preliminary update of the Flood Insurance Rate Map and the Flood Insurance Study for Windham County for public review and comment. A Community Information Meeting will be scheduled by FEMA sometime later this summer. The Flood Insurance Study, Pomfret Map, Windham County maps and link to the complete FEMA Report may be viewed below. Comments and questions may be directed to the Pomfret Office of the First Selectman by July 15, 2026 for inclusion in feedback packet to FEMA.
