Heat Wave Expected thru Saturday - Cooling Centers Open

Temperatures are predicted to be in the 90's with heat indexes over 100 from Wednesday at 10:00 AM thru Saturday, July 4th at 8:00 PM.  You can escape the heat at one of Pomfret's two Cooling Centers:

Community Center - Thursday July 2 on the lower level - 9:30 - 2:30

Pomfret Public Library - Thursday - 10:00 - 6:00 and Friday 2:00 - 6:00 

Both facilities have air conditioning and are relaxing spots to escape the mid-day heat!
