Plan of Conservation & Development Steering Committee

The Town of Pomfret is initiating the process of updating its 2026 Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD), a strategic document that will guide decisions on land use, housing, natural resources, infrastructure, and community development for the next decade. A Steering Committee is being formed to support this effort by attending regular meetings over the next 12–18 months, offering input on town priorities, assisting with public engagement, reviewing data and draft materials, and ensuring a range of community perspectives are considered. This collaborative effort aims to create a thoughtful and forward-looking plan for Pomfret’s future.
